When you create art you are talking with others.
You may never meet these people, but you are
certainly dialouging with them. That's why I feel that making imagery is so powerful and
important--because it opens up communication between two or more folks who otherwise,
may never have a chance to interact.

With this in mind, I am very deliberate and purposeful with what kind of imagery I decide
upon. My work is well thought out and meant to invite a viewer to enjoy technically and
aesthetically what's in front of them but, to also ask some of their own questions about the
themes and subjects.

At the moment I am working on two different series.

One is the 'Hiding House' series. In which I explore the confines of feeling trapped in a your
own house due to an overwhelming fear of leaving your dwelling. While in the same breath
loving the beauty and drama of the everyday that surrounds us.

The other main series in my collection is 'Animals in our World'. Here I explore and
present some of the lesser known sides of animals; such as 'a pig is as smart as a 3 year old
child'. Conversely, I examine how these same animals lack even the scantiest of legal
protection in some of the most dire circumstances and how the modern agricultural system
(a.k.a. corporations) inhumanely raise and slaughter animals for products
and consumption.

In closing I'd just like to thank you for taking a moment to find out more
about me and it is my fondest wish that by exploring my art, you ask
questions and ultimately find out more about you and the world around you.
